Peculiarities:
Adaptations of famous classical pieces for voice and piano, especially pieces by Tosti, made by great violinists of the past or the Medhelan Duo
Original Medhelan transcriptions of orchestral operatic works specifically made for this trio
The trio, made by Doriano Di Domenico, Matteo Generani and Genaro Mendez, is discovering a type of repertoire not so common to be heard, because of the inclusion of the violin in the traditional Voice-Piano ensemble.
In the concerts they held in February 2025 in Shawnee Methodist Church (Missouri, USA) and at the University of Kansas (Kansas, USA) they proposed some rare adaptations of songs by Tosti:
Good - Bye: by violinist T.A. Tirindelli
La Serenata: by violinist G. Papini
Visione!: by Tosti
A' Vucchella: by the Medhelan Duo
